2025 Alamo City Furry Invasion

We will get straight to the point.... ACFI 2024 will mark the last year at The San Antonio Marriott Airport in North San Antonio. 

When we looked at this hotel shortly after COVID Lockdowns the hotel was still under construction.  It was literally only steel beams and cement floors.   We knew at the time that we were getting into a hotel with a smaller footprint then we have ever had, however with the uncertainty of COVID we chose the hotel as it was going to be brand new with a multi-year contract.  After the first year we knew that we had already outgrown the hotel and here we are 3 years later at the end of our contractual agreement.

With the amazing support and community within the Furry Fandom we have grown leaps and bounds.  As such, we are moving ACFI 2025 to The Embassy Suites and Convention Center in San Marcos Texas for the next 4 years at least.  Though our heart and soul will always lie within San Antonio, this made most sense to be able to expand on what we have to offer to our attendees.

Here are The Facts:

• ACFI is expanding its footprint from 13,400 sq ft of meeting space to 42,000 sq ft

• The hotel and convention center are both going to start a complete remodel starting January 2025 and will be complete by June/July 2025... Just in time for ACFI to walk in to another Fresh, Clean, Modern hotel October 2025

• All Event rooms are now located on the Ground Level

• Largest Main Stage area in ACFI History with a Dedicated Second Stage that is about the same size as our current Main Ballroom

• EVERY Room is now a Suite.   Each with a Living Room with Pull out sofa, Separate Bathroom, Separate Bedroom and an area with sink, microwave and refridgerator.

• Free Made-to-Order breakfast and breakfast buffet to all ACFI hotel guests. (Monday through Friday: 600AM to 930AM / Saturday & Sunday: 700A to 1100AM)

• Free Happy Hour from 530p to 700p at the hotel bar with complimentary drinks to all hotel guests. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY 

• Almost all of the 286 Suites open to a catwalk that overlooks the 10-story atrium

• 24 Hour Fitness Center with State-of-the-Art equipment

• Pool open until Midnight each night

• Almost 700 On-Site Parking Spots

• (In Negotiations)  Shuttle Service provided by the City of San Marcos to ALL destinations within San Marcos. This includes The Outlet Malls, Downtown Square that has almost 60 amazing Restaurants and Bars, San Marcos river and tubing, kayaking and canoeing as well as all of the Texas State University Campus

• San Marcos is located directly in the center between San Antonio and Austin.  We will be 41 Minutes from San Antonio International Airport and 40 Mins from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport allowing for Two Major airports to choose from

• BONUS:  A Fleet of Luggage carts  :)

As mentioned in the Announcement Video... ACFI will be moving to a 4-Day Convention with Registration, Panels, and Night Raves starting on Thursday.
